PA Black is a QMP with the Utah Medical Act and has a special interest in helping patients manage disease and improve quality of life with Medical Cannabis. She believes that teaching patients about the clinical applications of cannabis and empowering them with education and support in integral to both provider/patient rapport and positive outcomes
Christa is originally form Boston, where she received her BS in Biology and Philosophy from Simmons College, and her Master’s Degree from Northeastern University’s PA Program. She is married to Scott, LT Col in the USAF, and they have 2 teenage daughters. As a family they enjoy camping, hiking, boating, skiing and telling stories by the firepit. Having been raised in an Italian family, Christa loves to cook and entertain family and friends.
As an Air Force spouse, she has had the privilege of practicing in a variety of clinical setting and communities across the country, and brings diverse experience to the patients of Northern Utah.
In addition, Christa has specialized in medical and surgical obesity management for more than 20 years, and is pleased to offer assistance with patients struggling with the disease of obesity and it’s many comorbidities. She is available to help those who may be in need of weight loss in order to reduce morbidity and mortality of pending total joint replacement as well as improve overall health and wellness. She is national y recognized as a public speaker and scientific author, and is an active member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
Marley is 28 years old and has worked with Dr. Anden for the past 8 years. She lives in Ogden with her boyfriend and 2 dogs, and enjoys all outdoor sports, especially snowboarding, mountain biking, and dirt biking.
Marley has had numerous sports injuries that have resulted in surgery. She knows how doctors offices can feel dated, rushed and uncomfortable. She prides herself on providing a positive environment and the most updated information regarding marijuana in the medical industry
Marley and Dr. Corey Anden created Utah Medical Cannabis Evaluations in March 2019 and were the first clinic in Utah to do so.
She is a medical cannabis advocate and patient and is humbled at the opportunity to educate Utah’s patients every single day.
Liesl has worked for Corey D. Anden, MD and Utah Medical Cannabis Evaluations as “Ring Leader of First Impressions” for the past 2+ years.
While Dr. Anden is out enjoying “The Greatest Snow on Earth”, Liesl enjoys “The Greatest Show on Earth”… her Family Circus.
Under the tent, the three-ring circus includes Liesl and her boyfriend Josh (Ring Leaders), 4 pre-teen boys (the clowns) and 3 dogs (Tigers, Lions and Bears). The family circus likes adventure: camping, hiking, boating, motocross, hunting/fishing…all things outdoors!
Liesl dedicates her time to her family circus each day after devoting her time to the patients in the office. Her knowledge of this amazing plant has significantly grown and she is proud to be a patient and advocate herself!
